We are a leading provider of legal solutions, and we're looking for a skilled User Experience Optimization Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 per year.

Job Description:

As a User Experience Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for creating interactive web products that help our 24 million yearly visitors create customized legal documents with ease. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing interactive product questionnaires that customers fill out to create customized legal documents;
  • Writing and editing text to make the creation of legal documents simple and easy for our users;
  • Collaborating with our Legal, Design, Development, and QA departments to create powerful, interactive web products that are optimized for conversion;
  • Gathering and sorting through quantitative and qualitative data to determine problem areas and opportunities for improvement across web products;
  • Implementing best practices and exploring the creation of new best practices for web products;
  • Utilizing internal tools to implement questionnaire improvements;
  • Conducting product research and user testing;
  • Developing innovative strategies for increasing user engagement and retention;
  • Helping assess the viability of potential projects, services, and features;
  • Continually developing skills by reading and researching about UX optimization and digital marketing.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education in Writing, Communications, Law, Business, Library Science, or other relevant fields;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to communicate complicated information in a succinct way that users can understand;
  • An understanding of conversion optimization, consumer psychology, and online marketing;
  • The ability to effectively provide and receive feedback;
  • A self-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • The ability to learn, work with, and troubleshoot various types of technology;
  • The ability to identify opportunities and suggest new ideas;
  • Quality decision making and sound judgement.
