Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kujira Sushi Bar and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
