Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Kujira Sushi Bar and Grill is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for menu planning and inventory management.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends.
