Brandt is seeking a skilled Turf Service Technician to join our Agriculture Division in Red Deer, AB.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose heavy duty equipment, assemble/disassemble, order parts, and perform repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilize related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
- Accurately document work orders with machine information, actions taken, and time taken.
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
- Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
- Locate and order parts from parts personnel using parts catalogues.
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
Required Skills
- Effective communication and teamwork with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Experience
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment.
- Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
- Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
- Effective communication and teamwork with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
