Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on our equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify and repair complex equipment issues
  • Repair and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, and generators
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless equipment operation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired
  • Previous mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment preferred
  • Apprentice Level 2-4
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
