Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:
Brandt is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment, including construction, aggregate, and forestry-based units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and diagnose equipment issues, making repairs and maintenance recommendations as needed
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
* Use hoisting devices and other equipment to position machinery and parts during repair activities
* Test and provide feedback on equipment performance
* Prepare electronic inspection and service reports
* Order parts and materials as needed
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
