About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Competition Concrete Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Compaction and Leveling: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Surface Preparation: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of concrete finishing tasks.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Finisher at Competition Concrete Inc, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying locations. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and will be exposed to noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Teamwork: A team player with a positive attitude is required.
