Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Competition Concrete Inc. This role involves working with concrete to achieve high-quality finishes and ensuring structural integrity.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in concrete finishing is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to noisy conditions.
  • Work primarily conducted outdoors.
Job Responsibilities
  • Fill imperfections and smooth freshly poured concrete surfaces.
  • Utilize power vibrators for effective concrete compaction.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
  • Perform tasks at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Install various fixtures including anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to enhance surface durability.
  • Conduct waterproofing and restoration of concrete surfaces.
  • Repair and replace damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
Physical and Personal Attributes
  • This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
  • Strong oral communication skills are essential.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
