Job Overview

Mackenzie Investments is a leading asset-management partner for thousands of Canadian financial advisors and the investors they support. As a District Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to sales teams, including territory calendar management, expense and budget management, events planning, and maintaining our CRM database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to sales teams, focusing on attention to detail and time management.
  • Create and implement business plans in collaboration with District Vice-Presidents and Business Development Managers.
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings to implement business processes and ensure efficiency and consistency of territory management.
  • Discover and explore new business opportunities through proactive sales calls with existing investment advisors and strengthen internal and external client relationships.
  • Adhere to and apply Internal Compliance regulations and Sales Practices under NI 81-105 for our clients as the team compliance coordinator.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (English and Cantonese or Mandarin) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Post-secondary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Willingness to pursue new and creative ideas, motivation to achieve results, dedicated & energetic, strong communication skills – both verbal & written.
  • An interest and curiosity in capital markets and how they relate to the fund industry.
  • Ability to work well with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Successful completion of a financial services industry program course (i.e. CSC, IFIC, CFA, CFP, CIM, etc) would be an asset but not required.
