Nurse Next Door is a leading provider of home care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Caregiver who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients and their families to provide personalized care and support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, and transportation
  • Meet safety standards and use equipment safely and accurately
  • Provide premium care approach to clients and their family members
  • Respond to scheduling inquiries and updates in a timely manner
  • Review care plans and complete records accurately
  • Engage in open communication with Care Designers to identify opportunities to elevate client experiences and care
  • Update availability and time off requests to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

  • Two positive professional references
  • Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
  • Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
  • Proof of health care certification
  • Ability to travel independently to client visits
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal at a high school graduate level
