About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at AJ Family Child Caregiver. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Child Care and Development: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Rest and Relaxation: Prepare infants and children for rest periods, promoting healthy sleep habits.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with children and families.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
