Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at GFL Environmental. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our business operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the administrative team to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Collaborate with the management team to analyze and prepare bids and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain databases and records, including contracts and agreements.
  • Provide administrative support to colleagues, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Resolve administrative issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
