As a Pharmacist/Pharmacy Relief Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our pharmacy while on duty. This includes providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in maintaining the dispensary.
Key Responsibilities:- Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy
- Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements
- Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
You will also be responsible for workflow and inventory management, including controlling access to the dispensary with respect to inventory and patient confidentiality, reviewing stock to identify expired inventory, and ensuring all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met and reporting to Health Canada and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license is mandatory
- Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems is an asset
- Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed
This role requires the ability to travel within Canada across various underserved regions for short or long-term assignments as needed, with all travel expenses covered by the organization. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with internal customers and associate-owners, and develop their skills through online learning programs.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive pay program with an estimated hourly wage of $45.00. Additionally, we provide opportunities for growth and development, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package.
