At Royal Bank of Canada, we're looking for a highly skilled Lead IAM Security Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Identity and Access Management solutions and drive security excellence in the organization.

About the Role

This senior role will require you to lead a team of security analysts and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding of applications into RBC's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Your expertise in IAM capabilities and solutions will be instrumental in designing and implementing efficient security controls.

You will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, leading high-pressure projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them grow professionally.

To succeed in this role, you'll need extensive experience with IAM solutions, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian products, and ServiceNow is also a must.

What You'll Do
  1. Lead a team of security analysts and oversee the onboarding process for applications into RBC's IAM solutions.
  2. Collaborate with business partners and application teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
  3. Develop and implement effective security controls using IAM solutions.
  4. Provide expert advice and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  5. Manage multiple priorities and lead high-pressure projects while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with IAM capabilities and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and solution designs for efficient security controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead high-pressure projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian products, and ServiceNow.
