About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Onboarding team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of established security controls pertaining to Identity and Access.

As a Security Specialist, you will work closely with operations teams to ensure our controls are in place and operating effectively to reduce risks to our Bank. You will assist with the oversight for access management through recertification controls, privileged access, and toxic combinations for enterprise applications and platforms as we onboard applications into our centralized system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the achievement of the Bank's information security objectives of integrity, confidentiality/privacy, and continuity by ensuring Logical Access is effectively governed for the Enterprise.
  • Assist with the oversight for access management through recertification controls, privileged access, and toxic combinations for enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Carry out day-to-day operational tasks in support of Identity and Access Management through design/development/implementation of various reports.
  • Package artifacts for audit and participate in auditor examinations and walkthroughs of internal control design and operating effectiveness of GIAM owned processes.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of IAM experience specifically IAM controls and risks.
  • Good understanding of various tools/platforms (i.e., Google Cloud Platform, SailPoint, Centrify, CyberArk, Active Directory, UNIX-flavor systems, and/or LDAP).
  • Information Security background including an understanding of security best practices, standards, methodologies, KRIs, and KPIs.
  • MS Suite experience especially working with Excel (VLOOKUP, Duplicates, etc.).
  • Some leadership/people management experience in an operational role.
  • Security experience in Access Management or related field.
  • Advance understanding of SailPoint Identity solutions.
  • Experience defining requirements, processes, effective and efficient operational procedures.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple intake channels efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to express complex thoughts clearly, know how to listen, and contribute to a team environment.
  • Security designation(s) are considered an asset(s) (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
  • Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
