We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded organization that values individual ideas and strategies. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a motivated individual to join us based out of our Brampton, ON location.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze driver behavior to ensure road safety and compliance with regulations.
- Coach drivers on their behavior analysis, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Identify and report high-risk drivers based on their behavior analysis.
- Prepare weekly reports on driver coaching and training activities.
- Collaborate with dispatch and driver trainers to ensure effective coaching and training.
- Process video retrieval requests from the claims team.
- Attend weekly meetings with the dashcam vendor to discuss any existing issues.
- Coordinate with the shop to resolve technical issues with the dashcam.
- Audit drivers' hours of service (HOS) and provide support on queries related to HOS.
- Respond to drivers' maintenance issues with their equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule service, including vendors, and provide accurate start and completion times to customers.
- Maintain communication with customers and vendors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Notify dispatch of any service disruptions or route changes due to down equipment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Safety & Compliance Department.
- Post-secondary diploma is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Service Writer is an asset.
- Report generation skills, including the ability to create simple reports using basic software functions or writing basic queries.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair is required.
- Availability to work either a Saturday or Sunday as part of your regular weekly schedule is required.
