The Executive Director - Social Services will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Salvation Army's community programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to marginalized populations. This role will oversee the development and implementation of programs, services, and policies that align with the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of program managers, supervisors, and staff to deliver high-quality services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and government agencies, to secure funding and resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to staff.
- Represent the Salvation Army in a professional and positive manner, promoting the organization's mission and values.
Organizational Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
- Participate in strategic planning, goal-setting, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Represent the Salvation Army in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social services management, program development, and community engagement.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of community resources, funding opportunities, and regulatory requirements.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
