Job Title: Executive Director

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Barrie Bayside Mission Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our programs and services, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our programs and services, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective programs and services that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and clients.
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that we are financially sustainable and able to deliver high-quality services.
  • Ensure that our programs and services are compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Represent The Salvation Army at local, regional, and national levels, promoting our mission and values.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, business administration, or non-profit management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or social services organization.
  • Proven track record of success in program development, management, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
