Job Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Inventory management of clean laboratory glassware and wash-up area
- Preparation of sanitizing and cleaning agents
- Support of Microbiology laboratory in autoclaving waste and preparing microbiological media
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collecting and sorting used glassware for washing
- Loading and operating the glassware washer/dryer
- Checking glassware for cleanliness and maintaining inventory
- Operating the waste autoclave safely and in compliance with SOPs
- Adhering to all work-related SOPs, GLP, and compliance requirements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of GMP/GLP in a laboratory setting
- Personal computer literacy
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
