Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare and Professional Banking Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare and professional customers, providing expert financial advice and guidance, and identifying opportunities to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned healthcare and professional customers, including their business needs, financial position, and service requirements.
  • Provide expert financial advice and guidance to healthcare and professional customers, helping them to achieve their business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with healthcare and professional customers, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to healthcare and professional customers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans, aligned with Scotiabank's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business law, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven expertise in the healthcare and professional segment, with a strong understanding of the market and its trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Scotiabank's products and services, as well as industry trends and developments.
