Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present a professional and alert security presence at all times
  • Greet and assist members of the public visiting the premises
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients, buildings, and assets
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve security objectives
  • Carry out all security duties as specified, including proactive and reactive interior and exterior patrols, response and assistance in emergency situations, and documentation and reporting of security events
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of healthcare security experience required
  • Experience with Use of Force (UoF) in a security environment required
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C certification
  • Immunization records, including MMR, Varicella, and TB Skin Tests
  • Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to complete extensive patrols and sit/stand for up to 12 hours per shift
  • Ability to work alone and self-motivated
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
