Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Cobourg Firehouse subs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining area, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing insights into kitchen operations and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
