Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mr. Sub. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and serving of food to customers while ensuring high-quality standards and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective work schedules and manage staff activities to meet business objectives.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to maintain inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and portioning of food to ensure quality and presentation.
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Evaluate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to optimize costs.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular inspections.
  • Prepare budget estimates and analyze financial data to inform operational decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service supervision.
Personal Qualities
  • Client-focused with excellent oral communication skills.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Initiative to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Dependability and reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments.
