About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts in North America and Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives demand generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global and regional marketing campaigns to accelerate customer acquisition and retention;
  • Oversee the management of a small marketing team across North America and Australia;
  • Analyze and report on key marketing metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI;
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
Budget & Resource Management
  • Manage the global marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across various marketing activities and regions.
Lead Generation & Demand Generation
  • Direct global demand generation efforts, including digital advertising, content marketing, and email campaigns;
  • Optimize and update Social Pinpoint's corporate and product websites to enhance lead generation, SEO, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
Brand & Product Positioning
  • Oversee global brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across regions while tailoring content and messaging to local market nuances and customer needs;
  • Work with product marketing to refine product positioning and messaging to target government clients effectively.
Customer Engagement & Retention
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure marketing materials address customer pain points, promoting retention and upsell opportunities;
  • Develop customer advocacy programs leveraging existing government clients for testimonials and case studies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally in the SaaS industry or selling to public-sector clients;
  • Awareness or experience in marketing to the local government market, including understanding their procurement processes and challenges;
  • Proven expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, and content creation with measurable results.
Compensation Package
  • The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 CAD, depending on experience;
  • Additional benefits include 4 weeks paid time off, company-sponsored extended health insurance, group RRSP plan, and professional development support.
