Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team at MatrixHR. As a labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of materials and supplies, performing general maintenance tasks, and operating basic hand tools and power equipment as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the movement of materials and supplies
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas
  • Operate basic hand tools and power equipment as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
  • Support skilled tradespeople in various tasks as required
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of $23.00
  • $200/day Living Out Allowance (LOA)
  • Bussing provided to and from the worksite from Fernie
  • 10-hour shifts for 1 week
