Residential Dining Supervisor

Aramark Canada is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join the Dalhousie Food Services team as a Residential Dining Supervisor. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the component, including the supervision of the front-line team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage labor costs by supervising daily staffing levels and driving efficiency from all staff.
- Control production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.
- Audit service and quality on a regular basis to ensure high standards are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals and improve overall guest experience.
- Supervise teamwork and service on a regular basis to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Address employee issues in a professional manner while adhering to all Aramark policies and procedures.
- Support and implement training programs to develop skills and improve morale.
- Assist in annual employee reviews and supervise interim performance issues.
- Ensure all employees are trained according to company standards for safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in the food service industry as a Supervisor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
