About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and highlight your expertise in diagnostic medical sonography.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the provision of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a recognized program in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP)
  • Active membership in good standing with ARDMS or CSDMS
