About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and be certified by a recognized professional organization, such as the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP). You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography)
  • Current certification with ARDMS and/or CARDUP as required for the assigned practice area
  • Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or CSDMS
