We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered sonographer to showcase their expertise, skills, and abilities in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with Northern Health, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and examinations, working collaboratively with radiologists, cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in sonography, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography)
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, generalist, cardiac, and/or vascular)
  • Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS)

Compensation Package

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a competitive relocation assistance package to help you settle into our beautiful region.
