About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at SAMIA TASNEEM MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Reception: Greet patients and visitors, direct them to the appropriate area, and provide basic information as needed.
  • Communication: Respond to phone calls, answer questions, and provide information to patients and the public.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans.
  • Scheduling: Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage the office calendar.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, as well as calculating billing charges.
  • Directory Assistance: Provide directory assistance to patients and visitors, including information on office locations and contact details.
  • Emergency Services: Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
