Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at K I D TRAILER & EQUIPMENT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work in a garage and workshop setting, with regular exposure to noisy conditions.
