We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at K I D TRAILER & EQUIPMENT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.
Job Summary:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of mechanical units and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with truck systems, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct road tests and inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade.
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Own transportation.
- Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
