Payroll Benefits Coordinator Job Description

At Michael Page International Canada Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Benefits Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Administration: Review timecards for accuracy and completeness, prepare weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, and manage employee exceptions.
  • Benefits Management: Maintain electronic archives of employee files, manage hiring and termination setup in ADP, and prepare and submit ROE's.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with employment laws, prepare and submit WSIB and EHT payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication and Support: Provide excellent customer service to employees, answer payroll-related inquiries, and offer support with employee benefits and compensation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or Accounting.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll and HR in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now Payroll system, Microsoft Office Suite, and employment laws.
