Canada West Warehousing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery and maintain a high level of professionalism in customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle, including condition, tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
