Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

Canada West Warehousing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver - Long Haul, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with central dispatch and receive and relay information
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
