About the Role
Gallagher's Claims division is seeking a Claims Advocacy Associate to provide support to the Commercial Claims team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Claims Director to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Data input and maintenance using EPIC, Word, and Excel
- Coordination and updating of files
- Communication with adjusters regarding open claims
- Processing of incoming mail in a timely manner
- Receipt and reporting of minor new claims from clients
- Assistance with workload as needed
- Participation in special Claims projects
Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Insurance or a related field
- RIBO, CAIB, or CIP designations or courses completed towards designations
- Client services and/or advocacy experience in Commercial or Personal Insurance
- RIBO designation required within 6 months of starting the role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task between various tasks, projects, and deadlines
- Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills
