Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Paradise Inn & Suites / The Boss Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet production schedules and maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and maintain accurate records of food costs and waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items, promotions, and special events.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
