Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Paradise Inn & Suites / The Boss Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff performance.
- Maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
