CargoM is a key player in the logistics and transportation sector, established in 2012 as part of Greater Montreal's economic development strategy. Our mission is to support the growth and development of the industry by bringing together stakeholders and coordinating our efforts.
Our VisionWe aim to establish Greater Montreal as a recognized intermodal hub, sought after for its operational and environmental performance, and its contribution to the competitiveness of its business partners and the economic development of Greater Montreal and Quebec.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and ensure the sustainability of the Logistics and Transportation Metropolitan Cluster of Montreal under the direction of the Board of Directors.
- Facilitate consultation among key players in the sector through committees and project implementation teams.
- Establish partnerships with key players in economic development, both at government level and in the private enterprise and research sectors.
- Manage the rules of governance approved by the Board of Directors.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Cluster's permanent staff, recruit employees as needed, and develop their skills.
- Ensure the smooth operation of communication tools (websites, newsletter, Intermodal, etc.).
- Three to five years of relevant experience in an executive director role.
- Prior experience working with a Board of Directors is considered an asset.
- French and English, spoken and written.
- Be involved in both the implementation of strategic orientations and the day-to-day management of CargoM.
- Participate in the economic development of the metropolitan community.
- Expense account.
