Your Opportunity:

This position is a full-time employment opportunity at Consort, where you will have the chance to work as an HCA while completing your HCA certification from a post-secondary college. Throughout the program, you will receive support, training, and mentorship from a professional team of nurses. The training program takes approximately 12 months to complete.
About the Role:
As a Health Care Aide, you will provide personal assistance, support activities of daily living, and provide comfort and support services to patients who require short-term assistance or ongoing support. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers in various settings, including home, community, or healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to patients
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support patients with mobility and transfer needs
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families
Requirements:
- Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Confirmation letter as proof of enrolment from the Directory
- Strong communication and organization skills
