Job Summary:

Hatch is seeking a Water Resources Engineer, Senior to join our Earth Science & Engineering team in Calgary. As a key member of our Hydrotechnical team, you will provide civil engineering design expertise to our commodity-based business units, spanning the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and deliver projects covering surface water management, water balance and final void studies, catchment hydrology, and mine water management.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and identify how we can assist.
  • Report writing on findings and proposal preparation.
  • Providing input to engineering, operating, and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work style.
  • Licensed engineer within Alberta preferred.
  • Prior experience within the industrial and mining sectors.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic flood modeling will be well regarded.
