**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Specialist to join our team at Integrated Sustainability. As a key member of our water resources team, you will play a critical role in supporting projects that span multiple disciplines within our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses, assess climatic data, and develop detailed water balances.
  • Analyze drainage and erosion problems, watercourses, floodplains, and small and large river systems.
  • Perform water resources data analysis and statistics.
  • Design surface water management structures and systems, water intakes, and earthworks projects.
  • Produce and review technical reports and communicate results to clients and regulators.
  • Contribute to projects by incorporating input from various parties into well-written reports and deliverables.
  • Assist with cost estimation, schedule, and strategy development for water infrastructure projects.
  • Complete front-end, preliminary, and detailed design in various technical contexts.
  • Foster critical relationships with clients, technical and non-technical staff, government representatives, and technology suppliers.
  • Interface with other departments to develop and implement multi-disciplinary project strategies.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited curriculum.
  • Master's Degree an asset.
  • 10+ years of applicable experience in industry or consulting with a focus on Water Resources and Water Infrastructure.
  • Registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).

**Experience**

  • Industry experience in mining required.
  • Experience with industry-specific permitting and regulatory processes required.
  • Experience in hydrology and hydraulic design and engineering required.
  • Experience in mine water balance modeling in GoldSim is considered an asset.
  • Experienced in all phases of project development: conceptual, preliminary, detailed design, construction assistance, commissioning, and operational support.
  • Experienced in operations, including commission, an asset.
  • Quick learner, ability to manage change and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent English communication skills, and experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Proven leadership, business development, and client communication skills.
