Care Coordinator Role
The Care Coordinator is a vital member of our team at Lifemark Health Group, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and welcoming service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Coordinate patient intake, data entry, and scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Assist patients with completing paperwork, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Manage patient medical records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
- Collect payments and process invoices, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
- Track funding streams, ensuring approval and compliance.
- Perform data entry and billing tasks, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate courier packages and process incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes.
- Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- High degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic an asset.
