About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TAGPUAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that our restaurant is well-stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they are satisfied with their dining experience.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service management role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
