About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Counsel to join our Canada Consumer Group team at Intuit Inc. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of matters, including AI/ML, consumer protection, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and counsel on complex legal matters, including AI/ML, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with product management, business strategy, engineering, and other teams to drive innovation and growth
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential liabilities
  • Communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, including senior executive leaders
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and developments in consumer protection, AI/ML, and data privacy
Requirements
  • Significant breadth of knowledge in consumer protection, AI/ML, advertising and marketing laws, financial services, data privacy, IP, mobile and cloud computing, and competition law
  • Ability to navigate uncharted areas and balance risk and opportunity
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and training skills
  • Ability to interact with and lead change with senior executive leaders
  • Experience providing legal support on a global scale
