Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct periodic physical inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, lift-reach trucks, pallet jacks, and over-head cranes to support warehouse operations.
  • Support shipping and receiving functions, including receipt, picking, packing, and shipping activities, to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Review stocking levels and provide reports on obsolete and restocked materials, as well as recommendations for adjusting minimum/maximum levels.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain functions, Operations, and Projects groups to effectively manage and optimize order fulfillment rates.
  • Follow appropriate TOP (TransCanada Operating Procedures) and comply with safety standards and procedures.
  • Work with Logistics teams and suppliers to schedule pickup times, delivery times, and routing information/decisions.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Ability to provide Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
