About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 2226004 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to identify their IT requirements and provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • System Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement business solutions using information systems, ensuring they meet the client's needs and expectations.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations in a professional and timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality, and execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale, ensuring they are satisfied with the services provided.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
