Clinical Therapist Adult Position

The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for delivering time-limited, evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments to adults with Tier-3 mental disorders and Substance Use Disorders. This role is part of a multi-disciplinary team and will involve working within a Stepped Care framework, guided by disorder-based clinical care pathways. The Clinical Therapist will participate in a consultation group to ensure collegial support, accountability, and effectiveness of assessments and treatments.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a clinical health-related discipline and current registration with the relevant provincial regulatory body. A minimum of two years' related experience is required, including assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and discharge planning. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the principles of harm reduction, the dynamics of addiction, and evidence-based interventions for the treatment of addiction.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapist who can work independently with limited supervision and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and skills in individual/group cognitive behavioral therapy, psycho-educational groups, crisis intervention, suicide, and violence risk assessment/intervention. They should also have experience in interviewing, counseling, and teaching health concepts to individuals, families, and groups.
