About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel to join our team at AmerisourceBergen. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our business teams, ensuring that we operate in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to business teams on a range of matters, including contracts, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address legal issues and opportunities.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of external counsel and other third-party vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and provide guidance on their impact on our business.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience as a lawyer, with a strong background in corporate law and commercial transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
