About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel to join our team at AmerisourceBergen. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in delivering effective legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of matters, including contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and supervise a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve business objectives, working closely with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and regulatory environment, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum 9 years of experience as a lawyer, with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
  • Law degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, including SEC regulations and document preparation, litigation, anti-trust laws, and contract negotiation and preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
